Ham, Egg, and Cheese Avocado Toast
As I do with some of my recipes, I use stock photos because my food presentation and photography skills are lacking. The above version you see isn’t a picture from the variation of Avocado Toast that I prepared, as it doesn’t have ham or cheese.
So why the addition of ham, egg, and cheese to the traditional #basic Avocado Toast? Largely to add more protein to this recently popular breakfast option, which will help you stay fuller for longer; read why having more protein at breakfast is beneficial for weight loss.

Main Ingredients:
- 1 slice wholegrain bread
- 1 full size egg
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 slice cheese (20g)
- 30g deli meat (7 grams of protein worth, usually 2-3 slices depending on slice thickness)
*You can use different types of cheese or meat options for this recipe.
Notes about recipe:
- Make two servings or keep pit in avocado to keep it fresh
